"You can never enter the same river twice."
Heraclitus
I am not sure what has changed in this case - the river or myself, but one thing is sure - my Facebook died.
I tried to recussitate it (twice!), but the "back-from-virtual-purgatory" wall wasn't bringing me any joy, so I finally said goodbye forever. For really simple reasons:
* I feel that I don't need to be up to date with everybody's private stuff. And the content some people share with the world is hallucinating.
* Someone invented those huge, blinking, sparkling gif's, to be put in comments. I cannot deal with that. My eyes hurt. I mean - you don't just let people put dwarfs and plastic flowers in your garden, do you?
* I want to really simplify my life.
My brain still doesn't agree with this decision. It's constantly looking for something to scrool through. It looks for familiar icons.
It's craving scrolling and dopamine.
